On the open stage, the audience will see the opera “Ruslan and Lyudmila” by Mikhail Glinka. The opera of Glinka is based on a fairy-tale poem by Alexander Pushkin. It will be presented by the Symphony Orchestra “Northern Symphony” directed by Fabio Mastrangelo and well-known performers of the world opera scene: the soloist of theaters Metropolitan Opera, La Scala and Covent Garden – Denis Sedov, and the soloists of the Mariinsky Theater – Zhanna Dombrovskaya and Ekaterina Krapivina. The production of the play was done by the art director of the festival – Victor Vysotsky and the artist Julia Goltsova. In the play, the theme of Russian history combines with fairy-tale motifs.
