From April 24, Finnair has increased the frequency of scheduled flights from St. Petersburg to Helsinki. Now the carrier performs 20 flights a week from the Pulkovo airport. Now, it is possible to depart from the Northern capital to Finland three times a day, at any day, except Saturday. The route is serviced by ATR 72 aircrafts.
Finnair is confident that new flights will be in demand both for tourists and business travelers, who need to arrive in Helsinki or another European city by the beginning of the day, and return in the evening. The airline also expects that flights will be highly popular among passengers, who arrive to the Finnish capital from various points of Finnair’s extensive route network for further flight to St. Petersburg.
Finnair is the national carrier of Finland. It has been operating flights to St. Petersburg since 1964.
