On July 9, St. Petersburg will host the music festival “The Neva Symphony”. The music of three centuries will sound at the Palace Square, framed by the modern show technologies. Later, for the first time in Russia, the world-famous violin virtuoso Edwin Marton will give a free concert at the Spit of Vasilievsky Island.

17:00 – 19:00 Classical concert at the Palace Square
The program will feature the masterpieces of classical music, famous overtures and arias, popular Neapolitan songs and colorful Russian romances, hits of bel canto and famous movie tunes. At the stage will perform: the artist and vocalist of the Mariinsky theater Grigory Chernetsov, the soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Alla Petrova, the soloist of the Vienna Opera Oleg Loza, the trio “O. R.P. H.E.U.S. “and others. The concert will be accompanied by the International Symphonic Orchestra “Tavrichesky” under the direction of Mikhail Golikov.
20:00 – 22:15 Concert on the Spit of Vasilievsky Island
After the concert at Palace Square, the audience of the festival will be able to make a walk to the Spit of Vasilievsky Island, where at 20:00 the incendiary show of Edwin Marton will begin. The world-famous violin virtuoso, composer and winner of the prestigious Emmy Award will give a free concert in St. Petersburg for the first time. The program “Stradivarius” will feature classical melodies in modern arrangements, as well as the musician’s own works.
